Living in the Now is living the path of potential of the soul.
Imagine standing within the centre of an exquisite flower, it’s delicate petals enfold you and when the blossoming begins certain petals unfurl first. Always at the perfect moment the right petal opens and shines with a new and precious light that you may know where to look. The petals have different shades and hues that reflect the stages of life and once the flower begins to blossom, it will continue to do so, season after season, until its purpose is complete. The path of potential is a constant flow of fulfilment, even when the weathers of life bring challenge and opposition, still the flower continues, unless of course, its beauty, its unique fragrance is ignored or sadly it is picked too soon, through desire to own and control it.
The flower is strong, certain of is it’s reason for being, a pure expression of God. It thrives on the Love of humankind but the only thing that can destroy it, cloud its beauty, cause it’s colour to become unclear and stop the petals unfurling at their given time, is the negativety of the thought of humankind . The thought that arises from disease and the ill-discipline that ensues, the lack of compassion that arises from selfishness and the selfishness that fuels the greed and absence of love, the fear that undermines faith and imprisons love, the fear that destroys hope and dreams by forcing the flower to reveal its treasures before time.
The beauty of the flower is given to those of gentle faith for they recognise its scent and they are content to breath it in, for they know and believe in the peace that is within and they seek no more than.
Compassion is the outcome of suffering. When we accept suffering as part of life, let go of that suffering through the light and allow compassion to blossom in in its place, then we are truly living, truly purposeful, truly fulfilled. Compassion is love, the closest a human being comes to love in the World of Light, to the Love of Creation, to God. It is pure healing, it brings joy, true joy within the life.
When your thoughts turn always to compassion, when your words are always positive, uplifting, never critical, then light will be your days and peaceful will be your nights and your life will shine with that joy that you have brought to another.
Compassion allows the flower to blossom within the rhythm of its own nature for it allows life to thrive in all ways. Plucked too soon and it’s fragrance is lost, too late or urned away from and it simply withers, its purpose unfulfilled. Let the flower be your life, your waking thought, your midnight rest . Nurture it and your love will be returned a 1000 fold. Stand not ahead of it nor behind it but within it and you will flourish, for that is your nature when left, unimpeded, to unfurl into the light.
